Cookie Policy

Last Updated: May 20, 2026 | Applies to: greetevo.com and analytics.greetevo.com

Two Separate Platforms: Greetevo operates two distinct web services: (1) greetevo.com — the main SaaS platform and marketing website; and (2) analytics.greetevo.com — the first-party analytics platform operated entirely by Greetevo. This Cookie Policy covers both. Session recordings and heatmap data collected at analytics.greetevo.com are first-party data never shared with external services.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies including web beacons, localStorage, sessionStorage, and service workers. This Policy covers all such technologies. Specifically, we use localStorage to store cookie consent preferences, onboarding progress, and theme settings. We use service workers to enable browser push notifications for call alerts.

2. Cookie Categories

2.1 Essential Cookies (Always Active — Cannot Be Disabled)

Required for authentication, security, session management, and core platform functionality. These include Supabase authentication tokens, CSRF protection cookies, Stripe fraud prevention cookies, and our own first-party service usage tracking (basic pageview and session counts via greetevo.com). Cannot be disabled.

2.2 Functional Cookies (Preference-Based)

Remember your chosen preferences such as display mode (dark/light), language settings, and dashboard layout. Activated only when you use features that require them. May be cleared via browser settings.

2.3 Analytics Cookies (Optional — Consent Required)

Third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are blocked by default and will not load unless you explicitly grant consent through the cookie banner. Google Analytics is our only active third-party analytics service. Meta Pixel is NOT deployed on greetevo.com.

Meta Pixel Is NOT Used: Despite references in earlier versions of our Cookie Policy, the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel is NOT currently deployed on greetevo.com. If this changes in the future, this Policy will be updated and fresh consent will be obtained before deployment.

2.4 First-Party Analytics (analytics.greetevo.com)

The Greetevo Analytics Platform at analytics.greetevo.com captures session recordings, heatmaps, and behavioral data from users interacting with the Greetevo web application. This is a first-party service — no data is shared with external companies. This tracking is governed by our Privacy Policy and requires consent at Account creation.

4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can manage cookie preferences at any time through the Cookie Settings banner on our website. Essential cookies cannot be disabled. Disabling analytics cookies blocks Google Analytics from loading entirely.

Most browsers allow cookie management through Settings. Links to browser-specific instructions: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera. You may also use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

5. Do Not Track

We do not alter our practices in response to browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals alone. However, you can use the cookie settings described in this Policy to control all optional tracking on our site.

6. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology or our practices. Material changes — particularly the addition of any new third-party tracker — will be communicated via email and will require fresh consent before the new tracker is activated.
